Tuuli’s Visit to CODE (Copenhagen, Denmark)

In May 2016 Tuuli Mattelmäki had the opportunity to visit Center for CoDesign Research (CODE) in Copenhagen Denmark for four weeks. The visit was part of Academy of Finland funded CODO project in which strategic and mundane codesign practices are studied. During the visit, Tuuli participated round table discussions with the research team concerning for example COLLABORATION in codesign.

In May the research team and students organised a series of activities around-Prototyping a maker space in Tingbjerg Library. The activities are not only contributing to library and maker space development but address both societal and environmental sustainability, and what configuring what kind of roles design can have in our society.
